Celebrate Classic Disney Heroines with the New Disney Lorcana Curator’s Collection!

Some Disney characters leave a lasting impression through their bravery, kindness, and determination, and a new Disney Lorcana product will soon be celebrating those heroines who continue to resonate with generations of fans.

The first Curator’s Collection Set is themed to Disney Heroines, and spotlights six stunning glimmers placed on striking full-art foiled cards. The custom premium packaging boasts a whimsical color palette and iridescent accents, meant to transport you right into the fantastical worlds of your favorite classic characters.

These six characters each perfectly embody what it means to be a heroine – setting off on epic adventures, overcoming obstacles, and taking control of your own story, always leading with a courageous and compassionate heart.

I grew up feeling inspired by and in awe of Disney Princess characters like Jasmine, Mulan, and many others, and just looking at this set fills me with that same sense of wonder. You can feel the spirit of these characters through the game cards – they’re richly saturated, expressive, and set against scenes that seem pulled straight from the screen.

In this set, spot characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Aladdin, Mulan, and Peter Pan:

We’ve highlighted other game cards previously that showcase some of these same glimmer characters, like Anna and Elsa, but it is truly amazing to see how the Disney Lorcana artists have reimagined the art to perfectly match the aesthetic of this collection set, with that distinct design style that makes Disney Lorcana cards so recognizable. Each glimmer is beautifully depicted in a way that honors the original animation, but has new, alternative elements that feel right at home in the realm of Lorcana.

As part of the Disney Parks collection, this set will be available in limited quantities at the following Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort locations, in addition to select Disney Stores worldwide beginning July 17.
