The ship will launch Disney Cruise Line Japan, a Disney-branded cruise business operated by Oriental Land Co., Ltd. The company also owns and operates Tokyo Disney Resort under license from Disney.

Ariel will star in the ship’s signature stern artwork alongside Sebastian and other undersea friends. The design depicts her using a dinglehopper to create the ship’s name, tying the artwork to her curiosity and adventurous personality.
